	 Destiny
Denney began her professional life after obtaining a degree in secondary
education and a degree in English from Fort Hays State University. In August
of 2014 she joined the staff at Garden City High School in Garden City,
Kansas as a special education teacher. While teaching, she earned a masters
degree in special education also from FHSU.
 After three years at
GCHS, Destiny made the transition to middle school at Macksville Junior High
in Macksville, Kansas. There she taught English Language Arts and helped
coach the girls volleyball team. She finished her career in education at
Great Bend Middle School where she was a special education teacher. In total
she spent a decade as an educator.

In the fall of 2021, Destiny made
the decision to uproot her family and go back to school to pursue a
life-long interest in the practice of law. That decision took her to
Washburn University School of Law where she developed her interest in wills,
trusts, and estate planning, family law, and school law.

 Destiny is
a avid reader who never leaves home without a good book. She travels
whenever possible and has crossed Italy, Mexico, Ireland, France, England,
and Russia as well as many states off her long and ever growing list of
travel plans. She also enjoys a variety of sports, but her favorites include
whatever her son, Jameson, happens to be into at the moment, softball,
volleyball, basketball, and football. As a Colorado native, she
(reluctantly) claims the Denver Broncos as her team. But don’t worry! Her
die-hard Chiefs fan family are actively trying to convert her.

Destiny’s husband, Jeremy is a driver for CHS, Inc where he hauls fuel to
business, schools, and farmers in the region. Destiny and Jeremy spend their
weekends chasing Jameson and their dogs, Mack and Rex. They also spend time
with their extended family whenever possible.
